And you need to look at the cost effectiveness issue. You can also trade them for the scrap metal value but again unless you have loads it will be hard, and/or not cost effective. Clubs often save up big quantities and can make a couple of quid! I save mine and add them to the club box and one of our guys sells them once a year for a couple of quid which we give to charity. For the general sporting shooter I suspect most end up in the bin, I think you will find that in most cases even your ammo supplier will not have any interest in the used cases. Seems silly to just throw them away but thats what happens to many! Quote Link to post

Guest Lord B Posted December 12, 2007 Report Share Posted December 12, 2007 I drop them off at the local gun shop (old school type), he either shift them on or gives them to guys for re-loading who buy powder primers etc off him, not sure. And in return he is always favourable with the bill when it comes to me buying ammo be it rounds or cartridge.... Quote Link to post
