low plains drifter 10,473
Nice labradoodle pal lol He belongs to a lad who has just got into the dogs, Had him out for a mouch about with my dogs, he showed some interest in rabbit scent, but did'nt show much interest in entering the gorse or brambles etc, the deer scent had more of an effect on him though, I did'nt know what to expect from a dog of this type, but if I can get the lad and his dog out a few times, and get him doing a bit I'll be happy to see it, I don't know any terriermen, and I work lurchers to edible quarry only, my bitch had'nt long been out of season, and he was clingy with her, so hope he shows a bit more interest to get amongst some cover in future Quote Link to post

A motley bunch of terriers, except for Rawlinsons Beddy, that would pass for a working Bedlington of today. Quote Link to post

byron 1,169
sorry about hijacking thread....I use to to visit gn,,I remember him telling me that the fell/lakey side he used at one time was of john cowens stuff..something about un polluted kc stock.he use to ask me questions about above bitch,,[i think he had a brother/sister.differant litter]..how she worked to ground etc.sounder or mute..in gn eyes a true bedlington was mute..in George's eye/s them big fella's were a no go,to many good dogs lost to them..she started of noisy,,then bumpy bump..loved a nine inch drain.that photo was taken in july 2006..[i think]..she had been badly for a few days,,can't be arsed with full story, but she was put down the next day..another chapter of life gone..
