PeskyWabbits 464
While we are on the topic of HW77, here is an article from an airgun mag 2 Quote Link to post
pianoman 3,587
Thanks for posting this up Pesky Always nice to find something to read about my beloved '77. Owning both an incredible HW77 .22 and HW97K .177 I'm really well and truly sorted for any kind of air rifle shooting I would reasonably want to do. Or ever likely to ATB. Simon Quote Link to post
PeskyWabbits 464
You are welcome. I am having a big clear out at present and because old magazines don't seem to be worth anything, I am grouping them together, in subject matter. So you may see them on ebay or here. Supposed to be sorting them but I seem to be reading them instead 1 Quote Link to post
Rez 4,961
Mr James mcloughlin is featured. I shoot a few HFT comps with him. Uber shot. Like clears everything. Shoots a RAW now too. Best shot on the knock downs I've seen. Quote Link to post
pianoman 3,587
What's a RAW Jamie....? I ask at risk of some blindingly obvious answer...! I note hes a left handed shot too,. And his son .. Edited to add. The stock on the HW77 in the article is the Mk.I early version I have on my HW97K. It makes a light and really pleasingly compact feel to this rifle and it makes for an amazingly accurate shooting system to have. With a 40mm Hawke Panorama on board, it is old school, basic and unsophisticated air rifle shooting but, my God it is good to get out and enjoy a bit of old fashioned rabbit shooting with it. Those little Hawke Panorama scopes are among the best practical scopes I've used on both my HW97K and HW77. Love em! Edited March 31, 2016 by pianoman Quote Link to post
