Im kind of thinking either a Mally x or a Spaniel or Lab x as a dog id like to own/work before i hang up my leads,probably one of the two latter would have preference for me ?

Breed some lab crosses and I'll have a pup lol aslong as you don't charge me saluki money lollol only messing but I always wanted a labx, grew up with a couple of retreiver crosses and they done well

In an ideal world mate id like a Lab/Spaniel x Grey over a Coursing type..i think they would have loads to offer but then again i could and probably am wrong lol

I think even the first x lab grey could provide some fun on lamp if it had enough drive, then like you say the next cross could be been better

Aye it's working them to the point of the breeding the next batch..

 

The spoilage would sicken me..

i got a 28'' deerhound/grey and a 24 1/2'' saluki/bull/grey, got most running angles covered.could really do with a good busher and ratter prefurably a terrier like a good bedlington,versatile little dogs.

nice but how much deerhound in them.

dog is1/2 deerhound 1/4 bull 1/4 grey and the bitch is same put back to a bull

 

The dog looks a belter and now I remember seeing that pic before. I'm surprised he threw smooth coated though. Was he bred deerhound to bull/grey or deer/grey to deer/bull?

A few years back I bolted some foxes for some Belgian shooters on a local pheasant estate. One fox was winged and one guy sent his gwp after it, it marmalised it tbh, always wondered what one of them would be like if crossed with a greyhound?
