Reverse collie x , something that looks like a collie bit like sesku's bitch .. And a spaniel ...

Posted Images

2 lurchers which are quick enough for all edible, I personally prefer the collie x but more greyhound than collie. Don't think I will change and experiment with a different cross unless I had permission for a lot of fallow and the ban was lifted then I would think about a deerhound x maybe.

Building my pens big enough for maybe a third dog, spaniel or spaniel x after my next lurcher?

I think sometimes, or some seasons make if shit for lamping so atleast with a decent bushing dog even if the weathers crap for lamping you can still get the dogs working early mornings.

I like your thinking Moorside.

All round runner, heavier dog to stop heavier stuff should the ban get lifted and a fast busher.

Something like my brindle bitch with a splash of bull would be my idea of an all-rounder, steady, turns her paw to most tasks, good nose, good ferreter, works well with a bushing terrier, good lamping dog etc.

My second runner would be a big half cross bull grey.

Then it would be 2-3 bushers. Certainly a whippet/terrier mix and I can't see me being without a Plummer terrier in the future.

Good thread.

Why a plummer rather than any other terrier Gaz? Just curious.

Just because I like them. No other reason pal.
