im old school i use corn husk in mine does for me ,downside is the grains are largish and sometimes the primer holes need a poke out ,upside though it seems to last ages and does a decent job of cleaning ,if you want a very high shine though i think there are better alternatives now

I have the Lyman 1200 also. A good little unit. :thumbs: . I use corn cob.

It turned up on my doorstep yesterday and it came with 2 bags of a green media for free so was very happy don't know what it is but it works well that brass has come out polished like new ??
