Bosun11 537
In theory the latter should be a bit faster and have a bit more wind and the former, a bit more upstairs but it's all relative... I dont think either is 'better', its much more the case of both what you want it for and which you think you would work better with. Quote Link to post
Chid 6,542
Collie bull grey x saluki bull grey sounds like a handy cross if you got the best of all the breeds .. I've a pup here with similar breeding and at 11 month old is very switched on and well behaved , I've not done anything work wise with him yet but he picks stuff very quick.. Quote Link to post
king 11,972
The dog I've got here is.38/58 bull grey with a dash of collie from back a few gens.hes very smart.good nose.very high prey drive.and will hit cover for a sparrow.very very keen dog.unless he is on the lead.he is constantly working.even crawls on his belly under thick cover.but being nearly 12 months.all could change come next season though so fingers crossed. Kieran singo has a dog from the first mating.its turning out a good dog.both parents single handed all there lives. 4 Quote Link to post

Iv got the litter mate to king . I think the collie bull greyhound is one of the best allround lurchers. The one I saw had it all brains strength speed stamina .I'm not putting down the saluki theres no denying what they bring to a lurcher but for me the collie bullgreyhound has the edge . but that is just my OPINION Quote Link to post
roybo 2,873
Potentially brilliant ,with the chance of all types ,maybe a Merle saluki just think of the ££££ or a clever Saluki cross lol Joking aside you'll get a bit of everything in between the parents ,as long as you are happy with both and pick the right one for you ,you should be happy , Quote Link to post
