Guest MOLLY
Not really, they get more bushing in really thick dense cover, especially throough the summer, keeps me in ferret food. But i would'nt be without them, they have aided in the capture of deer, fox, hare, all of which would not have been caught on particular occasions with the lurchers alone. Marvelous for holding rabbits in nets when lamping large sets. When i take them lamping it is more of a walk out, not serious, just exercising the dogs after dark. Nothing as funny as seeing terriers lamping hares Terriers are very versatile little dogs when given the opportunity Moll. Quote Link to post

lurcherchavvy 3
i do it with my norforlk terrier. i get between the cover and the rabbit with two 5 million candle power lights from homebase. the dog goes out to them and chases them back at me and then (due to them not being able to see anything) a mate jumps on them. sounds like good fun i would love to see a video iv heard of people jumping on hares when there in there digs but going out lamping with a terier and then jumping on them brightened my day up hearing that thanks mate Quote Link to post
