Kieransingo 256
Think I would go with whip grey collie or splash of bull in. Maybe kelpie instead of the collie if had a choice ?. Quote Link to post

toblue 149
I haven't kept lurchers now for over 30 years. If it was back then and in a perfect situation I would breed lurcher x lurcher with no care as to the mix as long as the pairing was suitable. Probably an all out lamper put to an all out speedy daytime dog. In this perfect situation both parents would be at the top of their game and I would have pick of the litter when they were 3-4 months old to get some idea of what I would get. Hopefully a good all rounder. Quote Link to post
Lamper121 239
as have been said depends on ground, pre-ban or just rabbits, for me pre ban a first cross bull greyhound or a collie greyhound with a bit of bull in it, rabbits a first cross collie greyhound or whippet collie or even just a whippet but than I bias as I am running a first cross collie greyhound and would not mind a pat or jrt cross whippet Quote Link to post
Lamper121 239
What I meant to say was 3/4 Grey 1/4 Collie now - bitch 1st cross bull/grey on the heavy side pre- ban - dog (just to get an extra bit of height) Quote Link to post
Moorside 642
A racey collie bull grey for me, or 3/4 grey 1/4 bull. 4 Quote Link to post

DazAllison1 556
3/4 Grey 1/4 collie wither it be border or beardie, my personal preference would be beardie, they great allrounders will turn their hand to most things from ferreting/lamping, taking odd daytime hare and will take foxes regular preban if entered correctly 2 Quote Link to post
