air gun ant 1,666
Hope he's ok, the lad showed real grit and determination, it was the best fight I've seen in ages, he actually wanted to be there, and he was there to fight! Unlike some of the other crap I've seen lately lol

AKA-BRINDLE 879
Tough kid Nick Blackwell...should the ref of stopped it earlier?...easy to say with hindsight but...he seemed to be taking a lot of those punches on his arms and was always firing back...it was the cumulative effect of the upper cuts that did the damage...hope he pulls through ok

It was made harder for the referee due to the heart Blackwell was showing in the fight, and how he fought back and not just covered up taking shots. Hope he recovers ok, genuine boxer / fighter with plenty of heart and a credit to British boxing.

They know him better than anyone and that he is to tough for his own good. Hope he makes a full recovery. I have mentioned on another post, I had a bad feeling/thought about this fight that crossed my mind. I knew Blackwell could take it and Eubank can give it out and throws a lot of shots. shepp 2,285
They probably have medical procedures a lot better organised these days. It may have been the difference between life and death for this guy.
david jones 97
That was a absolute belter of a fight, nick Blackwell is a true warrior who can really take a upper cut, even though eubank won it for true gusto and passion nick Blackwell is a true champion last night putting on a show like that I hope he makes a full recovery
