mat p 0 Posted November 29, 2007 Report Share Posted November 29, 2007 hi all im wondering if anyone knows where i can get a reasonable priced slip lead from i lost it whilst lamping last week and although it was very good and lasted a couple of years its still £25 lost in my eyes the other thing is i bought mine from a game fair and i was suprised just how many different slips there are mine had an aluminium block with a spring loaded pin from that ran a piece of string thru a length of leather then there was a wooden toggle to hold and a leather coller to put round your wrist does anyone know the type im on about and if so what they called? and finally ive been trying to post a picture of my dog for a week now but the picture wont upload but hopfully ive cracked it tonight!(fingers crossed) if not im sorry and its back to the drawing board! tote 854 Posted November 29, 2007 Report Share Posted November 29, 2007 I use one inch wide strapping it costs 70 pence/metre at homebase,Make a 4-5 inch loop at one end for your hand to go through and a 1 inch loop at the other for a finger.Then just slip it behind the dogs collar.
