Not been a great deal of change in 40 years apart from more saluki and bull crosses

I believe Saluki hybrids will always be around,Bull types seem to be on the wane even now,possibly because the type as been saturated with shite and ego.s.In 20 years time there will be another fashion accessory lurcher that will serve the same fools.

This debate was going on decades before the ban came into force ... It started when more and more commercial shoots started up and keepers became more aware of profit and loss and how much their job depended on making a profit ... They stopped turning a blind eye to lads taking the odd rabbit hare and deer and started clamping down and getting the police involved ... Nothing will change and lurchers will keep getting bred and people will keep trying breed better stronger faster dogs ... That's just human nature ........

Forgot to add...I thought it would go that way too! Fortunately there are enough people sticking to their guns and still working a variety of types.

P.S. put me down for one of those labradoodle x whippets...but can you add a smidgen of collie too...just for the merle colouring you understand!

i lost the emotions when I started using my iPad,I can do the wink one an smiley face an that's it, I'm to much of a Luddite to work it out.

il bet on it there's more people with dogs now than ever before. Look how big South Wales is compared to rest of GB, nearly every other house got terrier or lurchers lol
