it puts things into perspective doesn't it, when i was growing up and had a windge and wine or feeling sorry for yourself, my mum always use to pull me up on it, saying "there's always someone, somewhere worse of than you" and when you see a handicapped kid with the grit and determination as him, it makes it all true, it was nice to see he had some good people around him, especially the other kids,

Another shining example of the value that sport has in our lives.......why schools would choose to discourage the competetive nature in kids is beyond me that boy has the determination and drive to accomplish his goals in life.....how proud his father must be that regardless of illness he has passed down to his son one of the most elusive of traits......the guts to come out victorious when we are matched into ourself / personal achievement.
