Ending A Poor Season, On A High With The Whippets.

Recommended Posts

this season has been poor in a number of ways for me, it just seems to have been one of them where something unavoidable always comes up!

I have not managed to get out half as much as my mutts deserved this season but I have don my fair share I suppose.

on the up side I have had a few young dogs come through and start committing to the game which is always a good feeling.

I have had to let a couple of boys down with invites off here which is crap as I love seeing other boys dogs work (even if they do usually highlight a number of short fallings in my own tyke) but rest assure I am no Messer and I will for definite sort a day out to suit in the future!

on the up side visited my old man on the weekend and had a couple of days with his show ponies as I like to call them. to be fair they never cease to amaze me at just how tough they are, they are more than capable of putting in a decent shift.

just a few pictures of a nights lamping and a days mooching.

Sometimes life gets in the way!! There's a few of us that try and get out here but something will always come up for one of us. Looks like you had a good time with the 'show ponies' though. Personally I don't think anyone is a messer if you are offering someone a trip out on your land but have to cancel for a genuine reason. It's a different story when you offer and they fail to turn up with a poor excuse or no excuse at all!! Nice looking dogs there. You just got to get out when you can. ATB

Looks some good days mate, looking on ur previous post an the convo we had, u ck e across very open an honest. Good luck with the young uns

thank you mate! I don't think there is any point not being honest mate, especially when it comes to dogs mate as not only are you doing your mutts a injustice but you will soon be found out. there are enough dreamers in the dog world.
