Rake aboot 4,936
The costs can soon take off and go sky high. I do Lambrettas and the cash involved is mental, any restoration can be the same. Early ford parts are starting to get expensive but to be honest Jim, I`d rather put the money into that car as into a pension fund. Whats the story with the escort ? it can't cost that much doing up hair driers................lol Oh my god ! you have no idea ! utter fortunes mate. Into the tens of thousands for the very top stuff.

haymin 2,465
Iv got a chance of buying this it's been in garage for year how much does it cost to restore something like this cant really tell from your piccys, but looking at the quarter bumpers and the cheese grater air filter, I,m guessing it may be a gt model if so the value is much higher, and even higher again if it's a two door model, if it's a basic four door, it will be hard to restore to a decent level, without spending more than it's worth, if you have found a 2door gt it's worth a fortune as it stands it's a 2 door pal ? Gt 1500

RLL 103E think your wrong lad 1967 there's the reg ? Possibly a field car? When cars were over produced they were stored in fields and sold at later dates. It is possible that is what happened to that car. But given fords reputation for swapping and changing parts on cars anything is possible. TC
kanny 20,647
The purist are going to hate me but Put a real engine in it and lowered on some nice alloys and just a clear lacquer over the existing paint and you would have a very distinctive and desirable motor for not to much lolly.

TC It would be a long time they started putting the new style grill and indicators on the MK1 in late 1964 the Airflow The MK2 came out in late 1966 Only the log book will tell if its true identity
