keepitcovert 842
Most guys on here of my generation are familiar with the film KES inspired by the book a kestrel for a knave, in my mind one of the best british films ever made, But a book that made a great impression on me as a kid was Wild Lone a book by Denys Watkins Pritchard pen name BB. It was about a fox written from the foxes point of view, which in the mind of a 9 year old when i read it was about as radical as you could get . Did any books have the same effect on you. BGD 6,436
Not hunting related but I'd say the book that had the biggest impression on me as youngster was The Ragged-Trousered Philanthropists, really shaped how I look at the world. Oh and Das Kapital of course

neems 2,406
Meditations,A book of five rings,The poetic Eddas and a huge book called something like 'the working dog' it was a massive encyclopedia on different types of types of working dog and rough summary of how they're trained/bred etc,I lost that when I was about 15 unfortunately. It was old as well, probably be worth a few quid.
