Had a finally day out Sunday with ended up in two injured lurchers again the old girl nearly 10 and still made a few kills lately should be on the sofa by June time and my blue bitch after her foot has healed will back to getting fit for September ! The bull X pup is coming on leaps and bounds and I'm excited to see her going next season !

It's been a shit year over all but iv had some cracking days out all over the uk and there's definitely a few memory's that will stick with me forever !

Iv learnt a lot of a few lads that taken me out this year who I can't thank enough , have seen some the best dogs I have ever seen doing their job and a credit to the lads that own them !

We must not forget the fallen taken to soon RIP star Avril and Katie all loved there work!

Good luck next year mate, had a bitter pill this year myself the older bitch has picked some heart thing up so she's been kennelled up since January an to me she's a very special bitch one off them that makes it happen [BANNED TEXT] all is bleak. Flip side is I have bonded better with her daughter but so frustrating when u see the runs the old girl would have ended. All part and parcel N all part of the love for the sport. I hope everyone takes care through the summer plans there season coming with the climate change I think we all got caught out waiting on the change that never came. Here's to good health an abit of luck the owners are ok to haha

You've definitely had your share of bad luck this season Owain pal.

But as said above, good to see you being positive and looking to the future.

All the best for next season and I look forward to seeing how that pup and your other youngster progress.

I always like to have my dogs running fit for september aswell, just habit I suppose, but I can't remember the last time I was able to make a start until late october-early november, the fields are like bell metal in september up here in the north, all the best with the pup anyway
