white van man 3,329
My plans are to keep the lurcher ticking over. Keep the training up. Plenty of walks and I'm seriously looking at getting a busher in as I think that's something I need to make our daytime walks a bit more productive!! 1 Quote Link to post

Chaff 3,622
Lots of trips away in camper, stalk a few carp out,do some game fairs kelmarsh next weekend. Will be fun to see if the dog will still chase a sack after a busy winter on the real thing, also renew my subscription to cmw (expensive fire lighting material) and pick up a few game pies. Then staight of to raydown leaze wiltshire for a few days with mrs and dog minus the kids After looking at fugis post definitely going to Scotland this year some stunning scenery to take in. Also read my mates library of hunting books,he has built up of 30 years or more, currently just starting a Moocher's tale by Phil Lloyd. 2 Quote Link to post

Carraghs Gem 1,675
have this baby, sort out a really decent ferret court.. something that i can walk into, practice with my new catty, do a bit of bushcraft, get my dutch shepherd fit again and back in training... will be 2017 before i buy another lurcher pup, i will be on the lookout for a dutch-grey or mal-grey from decent lines 1 Quote Link to post
jcm 2,327
keep the dogs ticking over with plenty walks, I got rid of my ferrets few months back as I hardly went out with them but now I'm kinda kicking my self as I have kept ferrets since I was about 10, maybe I will get a few kits in thro the summer. Got my ratting permission so I'll be doing that once or twice a month to keep dogs ticking but also keep the farmer happy, he is keen for me to be on as much as possible. Plenty days down the beech a bit camping and I may take up fishing and messing about with the Cattys so come next season I can take a bit feather on my mooches Quote Link to post
