Field Test For Hw100Ks.22 Using Falcon Accuracy Plus.

Well i took the HW 100 ks .22 out this afternoon and took 5 shots and took 5 wild as they come Wood Pigeon. The bit you lads need to know was each wood pigeon was heart/ lung shot and all dropped "instantly despatched",- to say i was impressed with the Falcon Accuracy Plus / HW 100 ks performance is an understatement.

 

 

A superb combination that will be used again on a regular basis. ( click on the picture, it will enlarge lads)

 

 

 

P.S. My G.S.P. pup retrieved the lot ( i was made up)

decent afternoons shooting there,kept the dog busy,nice one,never mind the calibre how do you find the two stocks,do they both shoulder as naturally? looked at a ks and did really like the feel,looks like the falcon are staying then?

just go,s to show that you can shoot just as good with 22 as you can with 177

 

so is it the cal

 

or the shooter that is best?

 

and dont go on about head shots with 177 as i no you would do just as good with 22

Well lads it`s normally 14 shots/ 14 kills but that`s in .177 -- "only saying like".

 

I don`t say .177 is better than .22 just the trajectory.

 

 

Well i`ll give you my honest thoughts, - i leaded the barrel during the week, tweaked the zero to "tac driver" checked zero again this morning and she was slamming those falcons home big style.

I thought hard and decided i will go heart/ lung on the first presentation as the head was obscured with twigs/ spindle. Took the shot and i was gob smacked, that pigeon just dropped, wings folded just lights out and this is what happened with them all. The Falcons just smashed the wood pigeon, all pellets exited .

I think the lightweight .22 Falcons traveling over 620 ft/sec gave me the flat trajectory i crave and also gave one powerful strike over the 31 yds i was shooting.

 

 

Well it`s very early season and i am giving .22 a full run out this year as said but going off today`s performance i will be using both .22 and .177 for different roles and types of shooting.

 

 

I am very impressed with this combination in ,22
