Sounds like Brian Plummer !!!!' Plummer produced like it or not one of the best breeds of terriers for hunting out and catching rats in good numbers, this fella ............................. . 99.9% of dogs will kill rats......would your Plummer beat the rat dog Billy from the auld rat pit days. Your right most dogs will kill a rat ,i was talking about hunting them out and catching them in good numbers which rules out a lot of that 99.9% eh . As for "Billy" and the old rat pits i've never heard of the dog nor does the history of any animal baiting hold any interest in me,but would billy beat my plummer around the farm yard taking rats ? .....who cares mate i sure don't ... 4 Quote Link to post

Rabbit Hunter 6,613
Is it called land of hope and glory neil? That's the one, wish I'd drank more brandy. I'd be able to have an intelligent conversation with Pablo. Drank a lot though, 1 Quote Link to post
Bosun11 537
I didn't see the programme last night but i'll view it back on the iplayer. No matter what the make of man, or the caliber of his terriers, a little bit of hunting was shown in a positive light. Some documentary maker out there said feck off to this sterilised countryfile bollocks tv and made the type of programme we last seen years ago. Our hunting governing bodies would do well to suss out this type of filmmaker and get him to do more. All we ever do is preach to the converted... It's the masses that need to see the benifits of hunting, not the fecking hunters...! Quote Link to post
