TOMO 26,908
Good program thought Guy Martin came over as a very nice sound genuine bloke & Coultard came over well ( thought he would be a smug bugger). But the overwhelming thing for me was the Wealth difference between the two sports. Atb Yeh they turned up in a van ,,,1 bloke,,,, F1 had to fly a bloke in ,,just to start it....5 mill that car cost...
bird 9,987
The only think that surprised me was the 1/4 mile drag race. 10.9 seconds for a F1 car isn't that quick. And over 11 seconds for Guy's bike? A lot of the latest generation road bikes would beat that, but I guess his is geared differently. And they were racing the absolute pinnacle of car racing against basically a road bike that's been tweaked. Maybe a motogp bike might have faired a bit better, but you can't argue with physics.so I think the outcome would have been similar. i thought that me self, but your right the out come prob be near enough the same the f1 car would win. Most 1/4 times you see quoted will be done on a rolling road , where the bike is strapped down so no chance of wheelying
