gwalchmai4110 1,757
hi there I know there is a lot of lads her who do a lot of trapping of moles. I was talking to an old boy the other day and he had a ginger mole in his landrover that he had just retrieved from a trap. so I was just wandering if these were rare findings and if any one here has had any or indeed any white ones? any pics would be great atb Quote Link to post
hutch6 550
Isn't a white mole supposed to be a bad omen in the old airy fairy folklore? Quote Link to post
shropshire mole 190
Very rare, although there are some who have caught more than one, I have had a gingery coloured one and that`s it. Read somewhere that catching a white mole = death soon after Quote Link to post
Nicepix 5,650
I used to work with someone who did mole trapping on farms up near Penistone, Sth. York's. He caught quite a few white moles, the sort of colour of an albino ferret. They all came from one small area of the farm. And he's not dead yet Quote Link to post

One for death and any more than one is a long a prosperous life. Now, where did you say the exact location was a gain? Quote Link to post
Tiercel 6,986
Seems quite a few are caught every year. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index.php?s=dd1bc3659c9782caec6010db641b8a71&app=googlecse#gsc.tab=0&gsc.q=white%20mole TC Quote Link to post
