Snare Help

Hey lads

I've been wanting to get into snaring foxes, any good books DVDs etc I should look at, want to learn best way to set and make them,

Best way to learn is to shadow a keeper or someone experienced in setting snares correctly. Throw the books and DVDs in the bin.

Have a look at the snare and trap designs and FAQs bit at the top of this forum mate, also people say that woodga's dvd is a good one but I've never seen it myself.

Nobody around me snaring anymore, no keepers either, all the lads round here just want to shoot the game and do no vermin control

Where are you? Can't imagine there would be much game about if nobody's doing any keepering or pest control?

Good video chevinfox thanks, i know loads of sites sell everything need to make snares but any guides on whats needed and how to make them up

Can't recommend any books lad, but make sure your snares include a swivel, and a stop set at 33cm to make them legal here.

Find a site called FOX SNARING UK a guy called Andy Rogers he sells everything you need and also he will give you information on what you need etc....a good bloke to deal with?
