Another thing that a lot of fighters do is soak their hands in concentrated salt water....its not pleasant but it does toughen them in a similar way to how when you go to the beech and have a cut it heals quickly because of the salt in sea water.

Sensible answers or i will pull the thread... But yeh there sore and f***ing sting n hot water or if i put cream on someone said vaseline before bed?

there is no shame in it mate. im a bricky and by the end of the winter my hands have split and cracked so much and worn on the finger tips that at the end of the day i cant even pick up a hot brew they kill, you tried that o'keeffe's working hand cream?

My sister is a chiropodist and she has a treatment she uses for very dry and cracked skin on feet, but it works just as well on hands.

 

Mix a good handful of porridge oats in some room temperature olive oil (cheap stuff will do) and let the oats soften a little. Then just immerse your hands in the mixture. Repeat three times a week...........
