kanny 21,132 Posted March 15, 2016 Report Share Posted March 15, 2016 (edited) My lad has been pestering me to go geocaching for a couple of months now and to say I wasn't keen is a understatement but this weekend I gave into his persistent whining and gave it a go and I actually quite enjoyed it we even found a nice little mineral water spa in the next village I didn't even know was there ....great way to find hidden little areas that you wouldent normally see and it's free so that's a bonus as everything seems to cost you money nowdays...we ended up finding 4 caches and I'm looking forward to doing some more. kanny 21,132 Posted March 15, 2016 Author Report Share Posted March 15, 2016 I dont think a alis kebab dump would take much finding They dont make them easy to find we was looking for one for about a hour...it was in one of those plastic rocks you hide keys ect in a big pile of rocks ..GPS said we were right on it but still took us a hour ...got the lad off the playstation and into the fresh air so i guess thats a result in its self....don't know why I didn't try it before lol 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

There must be a couple of hundred within 10 miles of me to keep him busy... get the app and look on that its like Google maps but highlights all the geocaches and works like a Sat nav guiding you in. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
