Things you dont expect to hear on thl.. "barry manilow, what a gig!"

I love music and always sit in the evening with the iPad on you tube listening to music while the wife watches her crap on TV ......... I am an 80's fan ?

I have quite a eclectic taste in music anything from hard techno to super thrash death metal... Bauhaus to funky acid house if I like it I like it I don't understand people who put themselves in one

Just for the record, i did think Britpop was the biggest pile of shite this country has ever produced musically, with Oasis and Blur sat right on top of that pile... Dont believe the hype...!!

suppose you like Adele then. Lol
Not in particular but i'd rather listen to her than them fecking Gallagers. Champagne Supernover... f**k off!!
I can't have music debate with someone who likes Barry manilow. Atb

Tune!!!!!

For me some classical like Ennio Morricone and Ludivico Einaudi are well worth a listen.

Eighties would be the main course as I grew up listening to my siblings music so it's quite diverse, I can listen to a song like blondies Tide is High and it makes me remember something from when I was 8 or similar age etc.

The nineties didn't really come up with anything I liked except for some Tom Petty and his genre like the Travelling Wilburries etc.

Some of the modern stuff would be like Paulo Nutini, Mum ford and Sons, George Esra a which are fairly acoustic and you could listen to in a pub or a big venue.

If it's irish music then some Aslan and the Four of Us both which are brilliant live.

I went to the Corrs concert in Belfast 6 weeks ago at the behest of the good lady and I was very pleasantly surprised at how good they were live. Young Sharon was wearing a leather strapless top and the poor mite appeared to be feeling g the cold on the big screen. Their warm up band was the Shires and they were quite good as well.

So all in all a fairly eclectic mix of music.

I guess like most people I don't have one specific genre of music I like. If I like it, I like it. My CD collection contains Tom Jones, Holst, Foo Fighters, Led Zep, Slipknot, Dance music - to name a few- so fairly varied.

Gigs I've been to are as far apart as good old Mike and the Mechanics on one end of the scale to Slipknot, Slayer, Metallica, Motorhead and the like on the other.

If I had to choose, it would be hard, but I guess I have more rock music than anything else.

It is rather interesting to hear from people with their somewhat different taste in music.

Just recently I have found the time to relax and to start to think deep once again by listening to certain Artists and their music.

Tiercel, Have you listened to any of Yann Tiersens music? Really like his stuff that he produces. I have enclosed certain tracks for your listening pleasure. Hope you like it.
