squab 2,875
in fact iv found a place thats holding lot rats, seems they dumped a few ton of corn last harvest in a corner of a small wood and its well rotted down right next to some log piles, holes every where and i see prob dozen bolt for the holes as we approached and they were proper rats, big uns lol. noticed 3 separate white ones run into the log pile, managed to get a picture of one off the video i took,id probably expect to see the odd white one in more built up areas chance cross breeding with maybe domestic escapes who knows but this place is miles from anywhere? quite a big area to cover dont think my bushers going to catch many but keeps them occupied(havent got a smoker) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdJOC40E0N0 3 Quote Link to post
krawnden 1,036
Nice find, but looks a difficult spot to do. A smoker wouldn't be any good in the log pile and I think ferreting would only work with a load of ferrets. Your best bet might just be to go at it with a spade where the dogs are marking holes. I've never come across even one white one, never mind 3 together. Let us know how you get on with it... Quote Link to post

David.evans 5,323
You'd do some damage there , with a air rifle , and a bit if nite vision , Great find Atb 2 Quote Link to post
leethedog 3,071
A few men with shovels would soon sort that out or get a peice of rebar and poke about some should bolt but if your bushers aren't hard mouthed they probably will be after a few rat bites atb Quote Link to post
