When I think of the mk1 and 2 escorts and mini and Honda 50s I left in the field at the back of my house I feel crying with the money the are making now .

The chicken chasers lol ,Yep wish I still had my 2 strokes a x reg dt50 A or B reg dt125 lc and a ts 100 ERZ ,very early mono shock model.

 

And the amount of minis ,marinas and 70/80 s fords I seen get destroyed in demolition Derbys makes you want to cry now,lol

Back wheel drive starlets god we wracked some lovely car that are worth a good bit now . Even the bikes what ya had to peddle to start cant think of the name of them .

 

I can remember the NSU Quickly's which you had to pedal to start.

Didn't early Morris minor have those signal indicator?

 

Yep, can recall both the Minor and Traveller having them. Just had a look on google and the new indicators, the ones we know now, had to be fitted on all cars registered after the end of 1958, just as a matter of interest.

wouldn't the one in the first pic look good turned back to its former glory, shame its just sat there rotting away, it would also look good with a nice v8 motor in it.......lol

whats the front grill off in the last pic?

My last landy had 3.5 litre and 3 speed auto that would gone lovely in that,I was only getting 6-8 mpg ,lol

its not about the fueling, its having the.........biggggggg engine!......... and the straight through exhausts with a cherry bomb in the middle soundddddd!!!! lovely.....lol you should have heard my american rv motorhome mate, it was a v10 7litre engine, it did sound nice........so sweet,
