Ye was looking at drainage yesterday. I was going to put a big ish round one in kennel floor so could sweep shit n everything into that as I can connect it to the drainage in garden.

What people recommend for roof? Been told to use wood with felt on then tin roof on top.

As said above 100mm king span in floor then ply line sides with 50mm insulation. I'm just starting a new kennel block so far got it dug out, drain connected to main sewer, shutters up and started to stone it up,

Just to save some money for the two lads saying put kingspan in floors...........Waste of time, in a house/building it stops heat loss through the floor, concrete sucks at your heating, external floors open to elements will be cold anyway..........Dig down and the ground temp is always higher than surface temp, Kingspan would actually make the floor colder in theory, preventing ground heat striking up. So heated buildings enclosed.........good idea to put in, floors open to elements a waste of money if that makes sense.

To OP...........I use double skinned ply box, void between ply filled with insulation, insulation on floor of box covered with a few layers of carpet, two layers of carpet on outside of box, dogs heat it up with body heat easily, works a treat.

cheers for that, suppose it does make sense. As it's not fully enclosed...
