Arry 22,069
A Bee Fly look at the size of the proboscis. I had one hanging about last year another back again. Hard to get a photo they don't sit still long. I watch it feeding last year hovering next to a flower and sticking it proboscis in the flower to feed. Some great vids of these. First time I met him he was filming the hazel tree leaf rolling weevil (12 mins) amazing. I've subscribed to his channel, some amazing stuff, check out the My Cornish Summer series of vids. Cheers, D. 1
Arry 22,069
I noticed this things under an Oak tree in my garden never gave them much thought before thinking it was birds dropping unripe currants they had pinched from next doors garden. How wrong I was. Never too old to learn something. Cheers Arry Edited May 13, 2022 by Arry
