Lab 10,979
Anyone seen the video that's kicking about. Perfect video to show how easy it is for a big cat that size to kill a dog. Albeit the dog doesn't die as it's saved by its owner. If someone could put it up that would be great..??
forest of dean redneck 11,608
Is that the one where in the comments they are all moaning as the dobe is on a chain? It was on daily mail website other day.

JDHUNTING 1,817
Thought the doberman did alright considering. All these clips show me is that outside of a sporting aspect always use more than one dog, which stands to reason as theyre pack animals never evolved to kill singke handed. keepdiggin 9,561
I think the doberman would have had control on the fight if wasnt on the chain in that scenario a large mastiff type would have smashed the puma to bits.

A dog can only bite, puma can bite and use its 4 lots of claws,it was certainly raking the dobes belly with them.

You must be the only person seeing that then. Cat overpowered it easy, chain or no chain. And to think some argue about pitbulls could take even bigger cats.....nonsense..?
The Seeker 3,048
I reckon that dog would have been f**ked if the owner didn't scare it off. The dog was incapacitated and I'm really surprised it got up. I wonder if the dogs collar saved it as those big cat teeth usually penetrate the neck, spine etc.
neil cooney 10,416
It always amazes me when you see any of those clips or Redneck shows etc. that they all drive expensive 4 X 4s and use top of the range Winchesters etc. but can't stick their prized dogs in to a steel pen. It's always chains. Then when they go out one morning and find that a Lion or a Bear or a Wolf has visited they have to head of looking for the killer. Must be an American thing.
