J Darcy 5,871
Do you mind me asking, do they pay you per mole or is it a set fee? Understand if you don't want to say! Well, it can vary for me,.... for this particular club, i work out a minimum price per mole, (which would be more, than say ,in an 'agricultural' situation, using that 'pricing' method ?),...plus the usual, travelling time, fuel, (motor , wear & tear, etc), on top,.......(dont get me wrong,...i wouldnt claim to be the best 'businessman',..but i manage) Well, if they want to play the fool with you, then you can always play the fool back......and eye for an eye and all that!! Nicepix 5,650
Does the golf club let you advertise in its publications or on notice boards? Because if I were tendering for a golf course I'd make it conditional that I had an advert on their notice board and got two or three free ads a year in their publicity. 1 Quote Link to post

Nicepix, you'll find that all the members are aware anyway. That's the good thing about golf courses, you get that one job and straight away you've given 400+ wealthy people a direct line to your wallet! 1 Quote Link to post

A dozen or so of my wealthy clients keep trying to get their golf club to hire me. But despite the course being over run with moles they rely on their groundsmen to do mole control. 1 Quote Link to post

Alimac2 321
Thats a decent result but the cheapest option is them putting at least one greenkeeper on a mole catching course...Thats a good point, your making here,.....& no doubt its already happened, elsewhere ?,...Ive basically got to 'shave' off, more of my fee, too retain it. I did think twice about it, but the 'head greenkeepers' , been good with me, so i decided to keep going, & help him out."mole catching course....",.....lol,....dont get me started, mole catchers wanting to be famous, or celebrities, in the trapping game !,......'look what i can do, ...i can reveal to you all, the secrets & mystery, that is 'mole catching' ,....arent i great !,.....ffs,...(more like, too fecking lazy, to do the 'hard work' anymore ?,...you mean) & even the 'new' graduates, from these type of things,.....'here i am a 'molecatcher',...just what you, & the world have been waiting on !',.....ha ha,....as if they are the ONLY one around, or something ?..what a laugh ! Now that's lost on me... ??? Your not on facebook then.. I know exactly what he means 1 Quote Link to post
