Gaz_1989 9,539
Just thought I would share this with you ferret folks. It's a very simple idea but the ferrets love it. Jok knocked it up out of a cut down section of pipe and a bit of plywood. They play in it and then fall asleep inside it during the day... 4 Quote Link to post
krawnden 1,036
Good idea. I've got some unused drainpipe so I might knock one up for mine... Quote Link to post
Gaz_1989 9,539
Yeh do it mate. My hutch is on its last legs now so I'm just drawing up a few plans now for something bigger and better. Quote Link to post
tsteve9999 456
I've had a couple of hanging baskets in my run for a while now but the lining is always wet and rots quickly, that seems a remedy to the idea. Quote Link to post

Chunky11 150
Many years ago we used to make our carrying box in a similar way with 9 inch plastic pipe with ply wood fixed on each end. One piece of ply was hinged to give access, lasted for years! Quote Link to post

Chunky11 150
Sometimes its the simple ideas that work well! In my case it was more down to money, young family etc. Now days, being an old fart it's easier to buy what you need! 1 Quote Link to post
