Blackbriar 8,569
I heard on the radio today that scientists claim that they are close to being able to 'download' information into the human brain overnight, so removing the need to spend years acquiring a skill, ability, proficiency or even a detailed knowledge of a given subject. Those of us old enough to remember Joe 90 saw this coming years ago, but, if this could be done, what skill or knowledge would you have downloaded while you slept ?

I know kung-fu however let's not get carried away it couldn't give you the years of muscle training like you would need to play the guitar like Clapton for example but still interesting stuff Edited March 2, 2016 by kanny

JDHUNTING 1,817
If they could download (I doubt it for a while yet) then they should be able to upload aswell, which in theory would be eternal life as you would then just need a body for your thoughts and memories to be downloaded into. If this thing ever worked, everyone would be able to do everything so there would be no specialists. Who would sweep the streets as the sweeper would also be a fully capable brain surgeon? How would it be fun playing golf with your mates if you all scored the same?
