Wanted Dog Tracker Collar

I'm after a tracking collar for my border as he's started going to ground all over the place,

New to ground dogs as only had bushing before so looking for for something suitable.

Cheers for that I will have a look into them,I expect they don't come up often 2nd hand and tad pricey new, but cheaper than a new dog!

they do come up now and again but if the dog is going to be going to ground and carnt be called out it will be worth getting one...they can be Abit pricey but like you say cheaper than a new dog and they realy are worth it plus they come with a warranty aswell

Yeah that sounds about right mate and as you say as soon as he's on a fox there's no recalling him so it's a must.

Do u have a mk1 box to go with the ferret collar if so then ye u can get by with that, but I wouldn't get comfy with it. It's amazing how much easier ur life becomes an how much quicker u find ur dog with the bellman

Only stupid question is one not asked ... But yes you can use a mk1 collar you can use a mk1 ferret collar taped to dogs collar or you can get a mk1 terrier collar . The mk3m collar can be used with a mk1 box and the mk3m collar is fully wTer proof ... So if I had the funds I'd buy a mk3m collar but if I had enough funds I'd buy a bellman and flint....

 

 

After all there are many sets out there on bank sides that go deeper than 15 ft wich is all a mk1 box will do were as a bellman does I think 60 meters so about 190 ft

As you say there's no point doing half measures I will just wait for a 2nd hand bellman to come up or save for a new one.
