Beautiful bird, especially in their Summer plumage. a good few years ago, 40 acres of arable land was cleared and banked up in order for the new Triumph motorcycle factory to be built. it remained like this for around 3 years, it was spectacular as it flooded in the center and was wild sown everywhere else, flocks of olden plovers would come in after dusk and it was a magnet for hares.Sadly its now just a big ugly motorbike factory.
