Nik_B 3,790
Looks like we're just feeding the local riff raff, sparrows and the like so we'll have to put up with a Chaffinch for the day's excitement...if it carries on I'm taking my feeders in when I'm not outside
Nik_B 3,790
Seems like only certain birds will come up to the feeders

I would hope it was the person behind the lens doing the majority of the work/creativeness and the camera/lens being the tools required... Also, having photographic subjects helps massively... I think I have posted Nuthatch images previous so probably already been seen but will keep this thread updated with whatever birds I photograph and hope others will continue to do the same... Here's a Nuthatch in a familiar pose, I took this about 2 yrs ago...

Nik_B 3,790
Greenfinch? DSCN1523_100.JPG DSCN1532_101.JPG Yep! Not seen one of those for years. The name's a bit misleading because it looked yellow to me lol I'm on the lookout for Siskins next and have one feeder loaded with Niger seed which most birds don't seem interested in. Our sunflower heart feeders are being annihilated on a daily basis so we're going to have to start buying in bulk as this is going to get quite expensive! I also nearly caught the woodpecker but he flew off when I got to the window but we'll get him eventually
