Nik_B 3,790
The niger seeds are not being decimated by the sparrows and blue tits which is good, we've had a woodpecker, greenfinch and now the goldfinches have discovered them Nothing amazing again but nice garden birds to see
dytkos 17,784
Greenfinch? DSCN1523_100.JPG DSCN1532_101.JPG Yep! Not seen one of those for years. The name's a bit misleading because it looked yellow to me lol I'm on the lookout for Siskins next and have one feeder loaded with Niger seed which most birds don't seem interested in. Our sunflower heart feeders are being annihilated on a daily basis so we're going to have to start buying in bulk as this is going to get quite expensive! I also nearly caught the woodpecker but he flew off when I got to the window but we'll get him eventually Home Bargains do a 12.5kg of decent seed at £3.99, cheap as fook Cheers, D.
