Birds "please Add Yours"

Peregrine Tiercel and Falcon. Only the female is called a falcon. The male peregrine is called a tierce. Tiercel comes from the latin word tertius, which means "one-third", because the male is typically 1/3 smaller than the female.

Yeah that fine mate just a cracking pair . I was watching a pair near me . There not as nice as that pair . I haven't got decent camera or I would of taken pics . They've been there for about 8 years now . One thing happend the other day that you don't normally see the falcon kept landing I a tree . Never seen her do that before .
