Do any of you remember hearing anything about this on the main stream news reports?

 

A multy World Champion beaten and robbed seems news worthy to me, but I don't recall seeing anything much, did I just miss it or was it not covered that much?

 

Digweed's achievements should make him one of this countries sporting greats......... when was the last time his name was ever mentioned in the mainstream?

Seriously tho, I hope they catch the feckers! It must of been a terrible ordeal to go thru, and having been in a similar position myself I no it will stay with him and his family for life.

What goes through someone's mind to come up with and carry out this sort of crime,its so personal and invasive I should think it would mentally scar the victims,probably for ever,the punishment for these sort of crimes don't make it worth even considering but they seem to happen all the time,sad world...

They would probably have had second thoughts in America where they could legally have been shot and killed (The thieves obv.)

 

I feel for the victims, its unfortunate that the powers that be are so petrified of the application of what's regarded as undue force in the the protection of someones family or property that its basically a free for all for the career criminal fraternity with virtually no fear of the law.

 

I see it all the time with the traveller element (who's purpose on this earth still eludes me).
