Good Small Spade?

Cheers all, some good recommendations. The roughneck seems to look the buissness

I wouldn't want to dig 8 foot with it, but it's the only spade I take out with me and its not let me down to date.

Roughneck is the way forward. Light and strong. I've had mine for 3 seasons and I use them at work!

I've got the rough necks very good spades but I also have a 2piece bulldog that fits in to a rucksack that's the dogs danglers

If I only had one spade bulldog rabbiting / planting spade , horses for courses I'm 6"3 so one of them little fairy spades got slung in a hedge ,

Deffinitely horses for courses. I'm 6' 2" but like them little roughnecks. Fits in a rucksack ?

Get on ebay and find a really old little bull dog. I got mine off my nan from when she was a caretaker at a school years ago the spades well older than myself and the best bit of kit iv got.
