In her prime then, I asked as wondered if she was slowing down through age a bit,but obviously not ,the lurcher pup is certainly getting a fair burst of speed,and using his hearing now ,very quick off the start.

The whippet's not the fastest whippet I've owned but she is fast enough and she is the best catching whippet I've owned or seen, she will work all day on any ground 2 to 3 times a week and touch wood she's never been lame. The lurcher is fast, she would go past most whippets I've seen.
