Guest Vladimir
There is no sighthound hunting in Poland. The dog looks good and has a history of hunting. Did anyone try it for hunting? Quote Link to post

Greyhounds Whippets and Saluki's are the one and only true starting blocks for runningdogs, certainly in Britian. Quote Link to post

Rocks 77
There is a litter for sale in Ontario. I talk to the lady and think they are more of a pet than a fearless hunter. Any way they were cheap. PM and I will send her number to you. Quote Link to post

Lennard 10
Maybe there is poaching in Poland with more or less "native" hounds...but if you want to see similar hounds chortjaj/saluki type working, the Ukriane and Moldavia would be better choices... L Quote Link to post

L I know that Khortaia is considered the same breed in Ukraine and in Russia and they probably are. One time I was looking for a Chart Polski puppy for hunting and tried to find a breeder in Poland. I only discovered that hunting with a sighthound was outlawed in Poland. Now, I am with Saluki (Tazi) imported from Kazakhstan, but I still feel sad that such a good looking breed of Poland cannot be used for hunting in their own country. Quote Link to post
