I have 4 kids and 14 acres so the long term plan is to give them a couple of acres each to build themselves a place on mate.

As said I reckon pigs or goats would just ruin it. Show some parsley round the edges .And some pheasant attractor if there's some nearby.keep on top of the vermin.let songbirds and insects flourish.don't let anyone on don't tell anyone about it.build a solid shed/cabin right in the middle of it.
