logan esq 99
Hey gents, I'm on the look out for a 3 ltr bottle that I can carry on my bike when out in the field. I can only find the tall slim kind, does any know if or where I can get hold of a shorter stubby type one. That is even if they exist. Atvb. Quote Link to post
Wardy 6
Hi haven't seen a 3ltr but godive.net do a 4ltr stubby bottle Quote Link to post
villaman 9,983
Have a look at this http://www.bestfittings.co.uk/shopdisplaycategories.asp?id=14&cat=300+BAR+Air+Gun+Charging+Cylinders Quote Link to post
treecreeper 1,136
is it not just easier to just get another buddy bottle? save fill up and testing costs and a lot easier to carry. Quote Link to post
logan esq 99
Had a look at both sites. It's hw100 I'm using so no buddy bottle treecreeper. But I suppose maybe an extra air cylinder a&m one or the like. I already have a 12 ltr bottle at home so another bottle would be silly in some aspects. I am right in thinking I can change the air cylinder on the 100 in the field, no tools required? ATVB Quote Link to post

jok 3,213
Ther's a fella near Derby could help you out. I guess you' have to google air supplies and cylinder testing Derby. Quote Link to post
philpot 4,970
I bought a spare air cylinder for my HW100 from another forum but be aware that you cannot change an A & M cylinder as it has no valve unlike the HW factory cylinder which can be removed whilst still holding air. I think Uttings do a 0.5lt cylinder for field top up's, around the size of a small flask but they are about £120 with whip/gauge so nearly as much as a 3lt unit. Hope that helps. David.evans 5,323
i think you can change the a\m cylinder as long as your below 90 bar give them a ring but im sure im right atb 1 Quote Link to post

philpot 4,970
i think you can change the a\m cylinder as long as your below 90 bar give them a ring but im sure im right atb I stand to be corrected but I was told that the A&M cylinder does not have a valve in unlike the HW cylinder which does have a valve so retaining the air when removed. Sounds like my info was possibly wrong. Phil Just looked at A&M site and it looks like you and Mitch are right so sorry for wrong info to the op. Here is their actual wording,' the cylinder cannot be removed from the gun whilst FULL', so I assume as you say David, it can be removed when lower pressure is left in the cylinder. http://www.amcustomgunsmiths.com/cylinders.html Edited February 26, 2016 by philpot Quote Link to post
