Brothers Born To Hunt 0
I went to some permission of mine and my brohers around 1.5 months ago and found litterally hundreds of fresh looking holes. however we ferret all day and produced no rabbits. I think this mite be because of mixy. Since then we have had a few good frosts so i am wondering how long i should leave it untill i go again? or should i wait until next season? thanks for any replies Quote Link to post

Hob&Jill 258
"hob dragged out" !!! did your ferret really drag a rabbit out???!!! Yes Scuzy he grabs them by the back leg and drags the rabbit to the surface his mother has done the same. All the rabbits appeared to be clear of myxi thank goodness. We were crawling with it down here at the end of summer. Seems to have calmed down alot now though, havent had one in my last 15 rabbits, fingers crossed. Quote Link to post
Neal 1,869
I found myself in the same position at the beginning of this season, but thanks to one or two isolated pockets which seems to have gone unaffected they are now beginning to repopulate the more accessible buries. If you take a decent marking dog out with you then you'll soon find out when they are back. Quote Link to post
