Same Test At 40 Yrds

Recommended Posts

After the 27 yard test earlier i wanted to see if i could get a consistant group at bigger ranges.

Im limited to 40 yards where i am so after a few sheets at 1 mildot holdover i narrowed the groups down to these....from a bean bag on a bench i must add!! But im pretty bloody happy with the results.

Great shooting Matt :good:

VM (Mitch) is very nearly as technically precise as me at my 38.3yd v His 35 yard,( near enough) zero and fair play for trying.

Just better flight path with that flatter .177 Mac

27 yards in .177 is making the flight path about the same as .22 a loop

35/38 makes a plus or minus half inch ( loop from zero) from 10 yards to about 40 give or take a bit with diff pellets around 8.5 grains

Usefull for Mark shooting through the trees
