Couple Of Digs To The Youngsters

Early start again Sunday morning.. 2am meet and a near 5 hour drive after a quick cuppa we loaded up the boxes and headed out.. My young bitch pip and her sister Millie..and their dam Tilly.. Tried a couple of promising looking spots with no joy we finally dropped on .. 1st dig was a 1.4 on the bellman easy going to my mates bitch Millie her first ever dig after a bolt last time out.. He was well happy with her.. Quick backfill and a short drive to the forestry where we dug my pip a few weeks ago at 2.7m? .. It's hard going in there and pip wasn't showing much interest but thankfully we decided to check a couple holes at the very top which proved to be a good decision..no netting up due to the cover so collared pip up and 410 ready in case of a bolt.. In she went and could hear her baying .. She settled at 1.1 happy days broke through she was up close and working well.. Quick dispatch and backfill ..I'm very happy with her 1st season hopefully get her one more before we pack up for the summer... Millie on left and pip on right..
