bird 9,944 Posted February 22, 2016 Report Share Posted February 22, 2016 had none ped bitch 20in 20 lb , great little dog, fast as feck won few races with her, she was good on rabbits as well . some males down the track went up to 33 lb and they were real game little dogs , would pile in to foxes no prob a lad ran 2 brothers on foxes with them, catch hares as well got soft spot for none ped racing whippets 4 Quote Link to post

keepitcovert 842 Posted February 22, 2016 Report Share Posted February 22, 2016 Two best whippets i had were a 16lb bitch and the the other end of the scale a 32lb bitch, the small dog won a lot of races and was a game little rabbiter, bit of a branch buster. never thought she would make old bones but died at 13. The other accounted for quite a few hares and was good on the lamp, i too rate the non peds, plus the prices are more realistic. 3 Quote Link to post

Iv seen a few pups that its sired and i like them a lot. Brindle sam was out of boy blue and thats thrown some good dogs too iv owned one and seen many others work. Speak to stud dog on here hes just used it at stud over a nice bull whippet and all the pups are similar and lees getting good reports from all the dogs. Quote Link to post

I have a blue bitch pup here out of brindle sam shes only 5 months old at the moment but can already tell that shes very keen to chase, she stands at about 21tts upto now has a natural retrieve which is a bonus when it comes to training i suppose.
