Gaz_1989 9,539
I wasn't aware that hare coursing had stopped in the British countryside? The only dreamers are the silly fuckers trying to enforce the ban. About time they gave up and spent their time more wisely if you ask me. 5 Quote Link to post
desertbred 5,490
Coursing has never gone any where only the way it is carried out has had to adapt, as for organised coursing making a return forget it. Best that can happen is that private land could be considered as a private agreement with the landowner and the individual to control the hare population even if affordable licence fees were charged annually it would be a step in the right direction, if not then you are your own master 1 Quote Link to post

neil cooney 10,416
The way that SKY news worded that that report was coming up made it sound that it was going to be a report on fighting for a return of legal hare coursing. In truth it was a report on the usual bad image of coursing ie. large wagers and burnt out haysheds. A pity. Fair play to that man ,Shaun, for giving a short interview. Quote Link to post
Gaz_1989 9,539
How can they enforce the ban further as the Sky programme suggests may be an option? They already send multiple police officers out to reports of coursing, they send helicopters, they confiscate vehicles, take dogs and issue large fines. The lads are out the next day back at it. I really don't see what they could do to "step it up". They really are fighting a loosing battle. 1 Quote Link to post

TAXI DRIVER 549
There was a conservative MP talking on Sunday politics last week.He was saying that the Conservatives were looking to repeal the hunting ban in the near future. Quote Link to post

socks 32,253
Just watched it fukc me talk about biased reporting ... Starting a caption saying warning animal cruelty in the running wording at the bottom of the report blood sport was highlighted in red .. A caption saying coursing goes hand in hand with other criminal activities ... Farmers claiming they were targeted by hate coursers and barns burned down ... If they were talking about fox hunting the CA and Tim boner would be all over this but because it's lurcher lads they couldn't give a fukc ....... 7 Quote Link to post
hubbs 178
The ban has only driven it underground in alot of areas and stopped genuine lads cracking on I think if the ban was lifted it would stop all of hassle that goes on in my opinion of course Quote Link to post
